Summer Learning Labs- Teaching Our Youth Some Awesome Skills!
This week we are highlighting 4th-6th graders and the opportunity that they have to learn many skills over the summer. Whether it be making specialty coffee, or learning the history of drumming, our Summer Learning Labs are specifically designed to help, not only bridge tremendous learning gaps, but also learn some very interesting and often used skills and traits.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: The coolest part of our Summer Learning Labs, is our volunteers teach the courses for our students. So, if you have an awesome skill that would be beneficial and interesting for our youth, come share it with them! There are also many other ways you can get involved:
Volunteer: 2 hours a week for 6 weeks will impact your life as much as our students!
$25 – will cover 1 Student for 1 Week
$150 – will cover 1 Student for all 6 Weeks
$350 – will cover 1 Youth for YouSchool & Camp.
Pray: Email our Executive Director at: firstname.lastname@example.org and she will send you a student name you can be praying for throughout the summer!
