Youth Development Intern
Responsibilities (varies according to Internship duration)
- Assist in afterschool youth program (activities include spiritual development, academic tutoring, art, health, financial literacy and leadership development
- Support Youth Development staff
- Research youth leadership curriculum to be used in youth programs
Time Commitment
- 1 Quarter – 1 Year (Quarter, semester or yearly basis)
Supervised by: Youth Development Director
Marketing/PR Intern
Responsibilities (varies according to Internship duration)
- Oversee the development of marketing pieces for the organization
- Research new ways to market the organization
- Help to implement the yearly Communication Plan
- Maintain and update website as needed
Time Commitment
- 1 Quarter – 1 Year (Quarter, semester or yearly basis)
Supervised by: Director of Operations and Office Manager
Organizational Development Intern
Responsibilities (varies according to Internship duration)
- Grant research and writing
- Help to plan fundraising events throughout the year
- Work with Mika staff on donor development
- Engage in evaluation process of Mika CDC’s programs and events
